Luc Lalande

Since joining Carleton University in 1996, Luc has initiated and participated in a number of programs and events aimed at stimulating technological entrepreneurship. These projects often involve seasoned entrepreneurs and technology founders from the local technology industry who generously donate their time to share their hard-earned experiences with students. Among the initiatives Luc has been involved with is the Technology Venture Challenge, a regional competition sponsored by some of Ottawa's leading venture capital firms, angel investors and technology business executives. In April 2002, Luc received the OCRI Des Cunningham Award for making a significant contribution to forging business-education partnerships or facilitating government-industry interaction.
