Bibi Patel
Director, Development and Donor Services, Community Foundation of Ottawa

Bibi Patel started her career as an information specialist with Nortel Networks, ending up as Senior Manager of the corporate library with global responsibilities. She then joined the world of Corporate Communications, responsible for Community Relations and Employee Communications for Nortel Networks in Ottawa, and for providing internal communications support to a president, his cabinet and employees across the globe. Her role in Corporate Communications later led to a stint in Recruitment Marketing where Bibi was selected as a national spokesperson for the company. After 18 years in the high tech sector, she joined the Community Foundation of Ottawa as Director of Development and Donor Services. She currently leads the team responsible for asset development and donor engagement.
