Scott is a Partner in the Ottawa office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in tax, estate and financial planning for individuals and corporations. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario elected Scott as a Fellow of the Institute (FCA) in 1991. Scott also lectures on taxation for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. Scott's involvement in other organizations includes services to the Canadian Cancer Society (former member of the Board and Chairman of the Finance Committee), Southminister United Church (former member of the Board and Treasurer), and the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (former member of the Board). Scott is also a member of the Board of the Community Foundation of Ottawa.
