Dragon Boat with a Difference: Members of the Dragon Eyes team
test their new vessel, the SS Community Foundation of Ottawa,
purchased by the National Capital Visually Impaired Sports Association
with a grant from the foundation. The Dragon Eyes team includes
14 blind or visually impaired paddlers who previously had to rent
or borrow boats to train. The new-generation dragon boat is also
expected to generate rental revenue to support other association
programs.
