PHOTO OPPORTUNITY - Swinging Community Leader

Join Grete Hale, successful businesswoman, outstanding volunteer and founding member of the Community Foundation of Ottawa, as she re-lives a seminal moment in the history of the Foundation. The first major grant given to the community by the Foundation was to equip Brewer Park with specialized play structures so that children with disabilities could play alongside their able-bodied friends.

The Community Foundation of Ottawa celebrates its 15th anniversary as a respected and valued centre of community philanthropy in Ottawa with the launch of the book People. Partnerships. Community. The First 15 Years of the Community Foundation of Ottawa by local author Valerie Knowles. Please join us and other community leaders to celebrate this key achievement in our community.
