Join Grete Hale, successful businesswoman, outstanding volunteer and founding member of the Community Foundation
of Ottawa, as she re-lives a seminal moment in the history of the Foundation. The first major grant given to the
community by the Foundation was to equip Brewer Park with specialized play structures so that children with
disabilities could play alongside their able-bodied friends.

anniversary as a respected and valued centre of community philanthropy in Ottawa with the launch of the book People.
