Ottawa Matters:
Ottawa Matters is an annual, month-long, multi-media project that involves a group of prominent Ottawa organizations working together to provide information and stimulate discussion on an issue of importance and interest to Ottawa and its citizens.
CBC Radio One 91.5, CBC Television and CBC.ca, in partnership with the Community Foundation of Ottawa, Ottawa Public Library, Carleton University, University of Ottawa, Ottawa City Magazine, and Ottawa XPress selected "Work" as the topic for the inaugural Ottawa Matters. CBC engaged the public and initiated discussion and debate through innovative, incisive and exciting programming on a great range of issues related to the topic of "Work", which aired on CBC from February 2 until February 28, 2004.
