Nishith Goel, PhD

CEO, Cistel Technology

Nishith Goel is the CEO of Cistel Technology, an Information Technology company he founded in 1995 which has operations in Canada and the U.S. A veteran technology executive and entrepreneur, Nishith is also the co-founder of CHiL Semiconductor and was co-founder of Ipine Networks. After his early education in India, Nishith earned his PhD in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He began his professional career at Bell Northern Research in Ottawa in 1984 before moving on to Northern Telecom in 1988. He and his employees at Cistel have a corporate foundation within the CFO, to which he and his employees contribute. Nishith was appointed to the Board of Directors of Enablence (ENA:TSX-V) in 2007 and Excelocity in 2006. He is Board Vice-Chair of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital Foundation.
