Michel Bilodeau

CEO, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)

Michel was appointed CEO of CHEO in November 2006 after more than 27 years in senior management positions in Quebec and Ontario hospitals, including most recently as CEO, SCO Health Services. During a sabbatical in France from 2004 to 2006, Michel remained firmly committed to healthcare as Emeritus Fellow of the Elisabeth Bruyère Research Institute, as an Adjunct Professor of the University of Ottawa, and as a Surveyor for the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation. A Fellow of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives, Michel is deeply involved in the Canadian healthcare sector as a former board member of many associations, including the Ontario Hospital Association and the Ontario Council of Teaching Hospitals.
