Scott specializes in tax, estate and financial planning for individuals and corporations. He was elected Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. He lectures on taxation for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. Scott's involvement in other organizations includes providing services to the Canadian Cancer Society (former board member and Chair of the Finance Committee), Southminster United Church (current Trustee, former Treasurer and board member), and the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance (former board member).
